Purpose
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle has become more important than ever. Yet conventional workout machines often prioritize larger muscle groups, overlooking essential smaller muscles. But now, there’s the Vitruvian Machine! Unlike other exercise machines, the invention aligns with the natural movement of the human body, targeting both major and minor muscles to ensure a balanced and effective exercise regime.
This machine assists with loosening tight muscles and ensures proper posture to prevent injury. Users adjust a handle to their height, then push it to stretch and strengthen muscles gradually and safely. The machine keeps the user correctly aligned, allowing them to concentrate on relaxing. It allows for personalized movements, enabling users to either hold a stance for muscle relaxation or perform movements to restore strength, depending on their needs. The pace and method of use are entirely up to the user, offering a tailored approach to muscle relaxation and strengthening.

Story Behind the Invention
Inventor Christine Nelson of Hermann, MO has created a new machine that aligns with the natural movement of the human body, targeting both major and minor muscles to ensure a balanced and effective exercise regime.
As a former gymnast, Christine was always attuned to her body. Regrettably, as she aged, unexplained, crippling pains emerged. A massage therapist educated her on the interconnected muscular system and maintenance for performance. However, after moving states and losing this therapist, her pains returned.
During COVID, while homeschooling and tending to a baby in a small apartment, Christine reflected on aging and physical pain. She combined her gymnastics background, therapeutic insights, and biomechanics knowledge. Observing posture and movement, she practiced stretching techniques to relieve pain and delved deeper into habitual postures’ effects.
Realizing that consistent support was essential, Christine was inspired to invent the Vitruvian Machine. The invention maintains muscle health and flexibility, replicating the benefits of human therapists, and offering a solution for those seeking better physical well-being.
But how does it work? The machine assists with loosening tight muscles and ensures proper posture to prevent injury.
